
Indonesia has joined the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (the "Hague Convention").
Lest year 2021 the Republic of Indonesia deposited its instrument of accession to the Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (Apostille Convention).
It will enter into force for Indonesia on 4 June 2022.
From that date, this means that after Notarisation and apostille, no further Consular legalization should be necessary before acceptance in Indonesia
