Please note, even if you do not require notarisation or legalisation services we can assist you in arranging FedEx international courier to ship paperwork overseas - Yes, that is right, we are FedEx agents and are able to ship paperwork to more than 220 countries and territories.
If you would like to use our international courier service then please get in touch with us and we can let you know the cost of the courier - all we would need from you, to inform you of the cost of FedEx, is the recipients full name, address [including zip code if applicable] and contact telephone number - should you decide to proceed then we can arrange for you to drop into our office (situated in Leeds) the paperwork which you require to be shipped.
Our fee for arranging this on your behalf is £15 plus VAT.

Once an appointment has been made please read below a checklist of what we need you to do to enable the appointment to go as smoothly as possible:
1. If possible, email the document(s) to the Notary before the allotted appointment time to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org – this can save time at the appointment if amendments are required to the document(s) i.e to correct the spelling of names, addresses etc and fill in any blanks the foreign jurisdiction have not completed. We know it is not always possible but if the document(s) can be emailed in “word” format [.doc or .docx] this would enable us to retype any amendments directly on the document and re-print.
2. On the day of your appointment all signatories need to produce identification – passport as preference, if you do not have a passport then a photo-card Driving Licence may be acceptable. We also would need to see a proof of address being a utility bill or bank statement showing your name and current address. If you are not an EU citizen please also produce your entry/residence visa.
3. If you require certified copies of identification or educational certificates then it is very important that all original documents be produced at the time of the appointment. We cannot Notarise any document as a true copy of the original without having sight of the original.
4. Please note if you are to see the Notary in relation to a commercial/company matter and in particular a Deed then the authorised signatory must be a company Director who is registered with Companies House. It is also very advisable [although perhaps not essential] to have a company meeting beforehand wherein the Directors agree to that particular Director dealing with the foreign paperwork on behalf of the company. A minute of the meeting should be filed in your company records – this does provide added protection for the signing Director.
