Our function as a Notary office is to attest, certify and witness execution of documents for use overseas. If you have a document(s) which notarial intervention then the usual process is for you to contact us by phone or email and arrange an appointment with the Notary and bring with you the document(s) in question along with your identification i.e passport and a utility bill or bank statement.
Once we have dealt with your document(s) depending on the country it is to be used in then it may be required that further legalisation is needed i.e the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Apostille and/or the countrys consulate stamp. If you are not sure then please contact us and we can give guidance.
It should also be mentioned that it is not always necessary to meet face to face in some instances we can deal with your documents remotely for instance if you need notarised educational certificates or GRO certificates [Birth, Death or Marriage certificates] then we do not necessarily need to meet. However, if we are to witness your signature to a document then we do need to meet.
Please note that we also need to see identification for every client this is usually in the form of a passport and a proof of address i.e utility bill or bank statement. If we are to deal with your documents remotely i.e via email then we would ask that a scan of your identification be emailed to us for your file.
We are also agents for FedEx couriers and if you require us to courier your documents overseas please contact us and we can let you have quote from FedEx for shipping. Our own fee for dealing with the courier service is 12 plus VAT.
