I have worked as a Notary Public since 1993, when I passed the professional qualification exams. These are additional exams to those necessary to qualify as a solicitor - I qualified to practise as a solicitor in 1977. I am a member of the Notaries Society and I am a past President of the Bradford Law Society.
I have over 35 years experience of legal work in West Yorkshire. In 2008 I ceased practising as a solicitor and I now work as a full time Notary Public in Leeds. This enables me more easily to react without delay to the often urgent nature of Notarial business. Please note that in appropriate cases I will work outside usual office hours including weekends and I will see clients either at my office (which has a large free car park and also is on the Leeds CityBus loop bus route), or at their own office or home.
This is a small web site of just a few pages but I hope that it contains information which you will find useful. It includes a brief description of the nature of a Notary Public's work.
